The Apple Group

The Apple Group is a 501.3(c) non-profit organization committed to serving the needs of those who learn differently due to dyslexia. For more than 17 years, we have given away countless hours, resources, free seminars, therapy and training in our quest to raise awareness.

History

The APPLE Group was birthed in 1997 by parents and teachers whose children were bright and dyslexic. In the company of other dyslexics like John Grisham, Albert Einstein, and Walt Disney, we realized the potential in reaching these kids who often fall through the cracks.

Since then, the Apple Group team of Cherry Frierson and Mary-Margaret Scholtens have developed a proven suite of Orton-Gilligham based multi-sensory strategies, like CONNECTIONS: OG in 3D.

The Apple Group has trained hundreds of teachers, tutors, and parents for over 16 years.

CONNECTIONS: OG in 3D is in accordance with the recently ratified state law and is approved by the Arkansas Department of Education for professional development.
